C & J TEAM TRAIL RESULTS (2011-2012)

We had 11 teams show for the first C&J Team Trails event for 2011/2012 at a low and a little dingy Lake Bruin. Water temp was 69-74 with mostly cloudy skies and a on and off lite breeze! Everyone reported catching a lot of keepers with 10 out of 11 boats weighing in a limit.

We had 8 Teams show up for the second event of the year on a low and 55deg Ross Barnett. We were welcomed first off with high winds, cool temps and cloudy skies. The sun finally came out around 11 and the wind laid down and the conditions got a little better. We had 6 limits and no zips.

We had 9 teams show up for our 3rd event of the year at a low but rising Black River Lake. We started the morning with 38 deg temps and a light north breeze.
Water temps were 54-59 deg and the wind picked up through out the day.

We had 8/9 limits and most everyone reported catching multiple fish.

We had 9 teams show for our 4th event of the year at Lake Okhissa in Bude MS. The day started off a little chilly with air temps in the mid to high 20's and warming into the high 50's by the 3pm weigh in. Water temps were 53-56.

We had alot of teams report catching quite a few fish in the slot 18-22 that had to be released. Jeff and I could not find anything that was not in the slot.

6 Teams of the C & J Team Trail showed up to Lake St. John. 30 minutes after blast off we were greeted to the most brutal rain I've ever experienced. Over 3 inchs in 6hrs. Hats of to the guys who stuck it out in that nasty weater all day.

This was the last event of the regular schedule, congrats to the Team of Destrie Dedeauex & Terrell Foster on winning the Angler of the Year Title. Out of the (5) regular season events they finished 2nd or 3rd in all of um. Great job guys!!!

Our 2 Day Championship was pulled out of a hat and will be held at Lake Okhissa March 24th-25th.

I told you St. John is never nice to me!!! For whatever reason I have never figured the fish out there!! After that day I felt like I woke up in a roadside ditch with 2 eye patches on

Congrats to Terrell and Destri on winning the 2 day championship on Okhissa this weekend. Chip or Jeff will have the offical totals and payouts maybe tomorrow. Terrell and Destri had a 2 day total of 26lbs winning a combined total of over $1100.
No over the slots were weighed in but man we all caught a ton of big fish. Getting over that 22inch slot is a challenge, but where else can you go locally and whack 5's and 6's??

Thanks Jeff and Chip for putting on a fun series for us to fish this past fall. Looking forward to next year.
