Re: LS JOHN REPORT APRIL 2.2013
Your right Doc, I was there Tuesday evening and it was 6-8 inches below what Id call normal. Dont be covering up that pretty spinnerbait in that 3lbrs mouth either. How am I suppose to get a good look lol
Yeah u right 2013
Gena and James (of Spokane) are sounding off about keeping the gates closed...
was there today...
I think the whole deal is the lake has silting in maybe 1.5 feet or so...
so the "gauge" they read at LSJ is actually 1.5 feet too high as far as the water there...
silt has replaced water over the past 10+ years...
BUT the Lake Commission is so clueless they keep pointing to the gauge and telling us
"its normal"...I was told a member said that a few days ago....someone needs to tell them
the silting means the gauge is wrong....
they would be better off alerting all on the lake to build/repair piers to the HIGHEST one they can see
instead of the too low ones next to them...if they did just that...complaints go away....
We are in "crunch time" now for all lakes...in recent years after Easter the rains drop way off and the temp/evap soars...
you can always remove lake water but you cannot add it the next 6 months...
